SublettingMany Owners decide to sublet their Holiday Home to holidaymakers as this provides them with an extra income to help offset the cost of site fees and any ongoing ownership costs.
How Does It Work?
Each Holiday Home has its own letting grade which determines the price that can be charged to sublet it to a holidaymaker. The Owners Holiday Home would be assessed and the income earned will be determined by the price that it’s possible to charge for subletting.
From this price the cost of linen, any hire goods, insurance, VAT, entertainment passes and commission are detracted.
How Much Can Be Earned?As an example, if a holidaymaker paid £400 for a 7 day booking, this would result in an Owners account being credited with approximately £240.
Commission
A commission of 19% plus VAT is deducted which covers a wide range of costs including brochure production, national TV and press advertising, interactive websites, marketing promotions together with the expense of cleaning, key exchange and the dedicated team on Park.
What Does The Owner Have To Do?
Simply let the Park know which dates from the Parks holiday season they wish to sublet and the Park will do the rest!

Park Funding Package
Most owners take advantage of a Park funding package arranged specifically for them. A 20% deposit is required and a funding package is then sourced that suits their requirements. All details can be processed on Park.
Other Costs and Benefits
As with any home there are running costs. These include annual site fees, local rates, gas and electricity as well as insurance.
Annual site fees cover the use of all the great facilities and activities available. Site fees vary by Park and the location of your Holiday Home on the Park. As a guide, they range from £1,950 to £7,500 per annum, providing Owners with a range of benefits and privileges.

The venue is a combination of the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy (WPNSA) and the adjoining commercial marina, in Dorset on England’s south coast.
